The Functional Medicine model is an individualized, patient-centered, science-based approach that empowers patients and practitioners to work together to address the underlying causes of disease and promote optimal wellness. It requires a detailed understanding of each patient’s genetic, biochemical, and lifestyle factors and leverages that data to direct personalized treatment plans that lead to improved patient outcomes.

By addressing root cause, rather than symptoms, practitioners become oriented to identifying the complexity of disease. They may find one condition has many different causes and, likewise, one cause may result in many different conditions. As a result, Functional Medicine treatment targets the specific manifestations of disease in each individual.

*RELAXATION MASSAGE is a whole body treatment using smooth gliding strokes designed to help relax and recover from stress. A relaxation massage does not necessarily relieve chronic pain or other underlying conditions and does not use pressure that causes discomfort while being performed. Relaxation massage relieves back and neck pain, muscle tension and soreness, lowers heart rate and blood pressure, and improves immune function. The effect of this type of massage is deeply rejuvenating. Pressure can be adjusted - just let Kelli know your preference!

*SPORTS MASSAGE may include the whole body, though often focuses on specific areas of pain and/or dysfunction created from repetitive movements, compensation patterns or poor posture. Benefits may include improved range of motion, increased flexibility, relief of muscle aches, management of pain associated with specific activities, and improved performance and recovery.

*LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE is a form of gentle massage that encourages the drainage of lymph nodes and movement of lymph fluids around the body. It can help relieve lymphedema.

*PRENATAL MASSAGE is designed to provide optimal comfort using bolsters, props and a whole lot of care!

COMPLEMENTARY ADD-ON SERVICE:
*Hot Stone - Incorporates smooth, heated stones for soothing warmth to overexerted muscles. The hot stones encourage relaxation and will stimulate healing in the muscle, connective tissue, and skin. This rejuvenating massage improves circulation and overall well-being.
Please let us know if you would like to add hot stones to your massage so that we can be prepared for you when you arrive.

*Cupping helps decrease inflammation, reduce pain, and support the removal of toxins. Please let us know if you would like to add cupping to your massage so that we can be prepared for you when you arrive.

Nutrition

Dietetics/Nutrition is a therapeutic approach to treat medical conditions and their associated symptoms, identify diseases caused by malnutrition, and assess overall dietary intake. Nutrition interventions can prevent disease, improve clinical outcomes and increase overall health and quality of life.

What is it you’re hoping for? What do you need? Can things ever get better? When did they get this hard? Is there anything that might help?

Counseling is a place to explore and find help, healing, hope within yourself and with support from a therapist. Your willingness to explore support is already a mark of your courage and capability. Counseling reminds us we’re not alone, and it can bridge a gap between pain and relief, connection, understanding, acceptance, purpose. I promise to bring my experience as a therapist to join you in exploring your concerns, goals, strengths, and needs. I aim to meet you with honor, dignity, courage, competence, and some playfulness and humor. I ask that you allow yourself space to explore the possibility that things may be different, that you are already stronger than you know, and that these broken and painful places can be mended and made whole.

If you are a kiddo or a kid at heart, someone addressing sexual or gender concerns, a couple seeking support, an adult with developmental or intellectual disabilities, someone addressing spiritual concerns, and/or facing traumas associated with relational violence, my background might be a good fit for you.

Come on in - I look forward to meeting you!

I know stepping into a new experience can be terrifying. I am here to provide a protected space where we can begin to explore your experiences and find a treatment approach tailored to your specific needs.

I believe the physiological effects of depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and grief are real, and the path to healing may look different for everybody. In addition to more traditional approaches to counseling, treatment might include yoga and other mindfulness practices that will improve your ability to process difficult experiences, and increase your capacity to cope with a wider range of sensations and experiences in everyday life.

I strive to provide a collaborative space that is judgment free, and filled with grace and acceptance. I am here for you, and promise to accept you just as you are.

I look forward to meeting you!
